Information on venue... Bairstowes Lake offers a peaceful days fishing with some great water features. The lake has two islands one at each end of the lake and in the spring / summer months it also has several Lilly patches dotted around making Good features to fish to. Depths range from 2 to 5ft with the bottom end of the lake (Entrance) being the shallowest. Car parking is plentiful as the venue has a private track leading down to its own car park. Species... Carp to aprox 20lb / Perch over 2lb / Tench / Roach / Bream Plus in 2011 the club introduced several hundred F1 carp which should make great sport for the match anglers.
